Following on from my previous post and the importance of correct alignment, I am going to describe in detail each of the 8 alignment factors over the coming weeks starting with the feet.
FOOT POSITION
Start with your feet together and visualise a clock face on the floor and your feet are the hands of the clock. Turn out your right toes to ten past two (2.10pm) and your left to ten to two (1.50pm), then move your heels so they are in line with your toes. Your feet should now be hip width apart.
Feet need to be hip width apart as this is the position that puts the least amount of stress on the joints i.e. ankles, knees and hips.
